The Vision One Laser & Surgery Center was opened in 1999 in Exton as a regional Center of Excellence for eye surgery. The facility, owned by Dr. Luminais, and Dr. Chronister plus other local ophthalmologists, is a state-of-the-art facility with sterile operating rooms and a comfortable waiting area. More eye surgery is done here than at any hospital or location in Chester County. Specializing in all types of procedures, the center was designed as an alternative to a hospital setting, avoiding many unnecessary distractions. At Vision One, you are greeted immediately upon entry and the admissions procedure is streamlined. Family members can wait comfortably at Vision One for the short time needed or visit Exton’s many shopping areas. The facility is highly accredited and fully staffed by a warm-hearted, good-natured staff of nurses and healthcare professionals. A pleasant and surgically successful experience for all patients is their primary focus.
Our Berwyn office, opened in March of 2018, proudly expands on decades of clinical excellence and an unwavering commitment to personalized patient care. Located on the main line at 1175 Lancaster Avenue in Berwyn, this location is easily accessible from old Route 30, Route 202 and served by public transportation being less than one-quarter mile from the Daylesford train station.
This second location also comes with a new name: Eye Doctors of Chester County a division of Levin Luminais Chronister Eye Associates.
This additional location will simplify the ease of accessing advanced eye care for patients in Devon, Berwyn, Paoli, Malvern, King-of-Prussia, Frazer and Newtown Square areas to name a few. Our Berwyn office has state-of-the-art imaging and testing facilities to make the best management of glaucoma and macular degeneration available and to plan the best outcomes for the management of cataracts. We will continue to offer laser-assisted femto-cataract-surgery at our state of the art ophthalmic ASC with minor procedures being offered in the office for the convenience of our patients.
New for 2018 and currently available at our Berwyn office is LipiFlow and LipiScan technology (from Johnson and Johnson) for the treatment of dry eye and related symptoms. Please ask about this exciting new treatment option for the management of Dry Eye.
